Super Duty




The 2011 F-Series Super Duty® will be the cleanest Ford truck diesel ever. It uses Diesel Exhaust Fluid to meet the strict 2010 calendar year diesel emissions requirements. Some key features include:

- Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is injected into the exhaust system, to greatly reduce harmful NOx levels

- DEF is a solution of approximately 1/3 high-purity urea in demineralized water that is clear, non-toxic and is safe to handle

- DEF tank and fill nozzle are located together with the diesel fuel tank and fill on the driver's side of vehicle and requires refilling at oil change intervals

- If the DEF tank reaches 1000 mile distance to empty level, a instrument cluster warning alerts the driver

- DEF will be available from dealerships, major auto parts chains, and gas stations
